A one-day celebration of local flavours, makers, and community.

This March, as part of the Bite of Burnaby festival, we’re bringing the city’s food scene outdoors for a special Pop-Up Market hosted by Artisan Farmers Market. For one day only, explore a curated selection of Burnaby-based food vendors, producers, and makers—all in the heart of the city.

Join us on Saturday, March 29, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at the Burnaby City Hall parking lot for a lively, food-focused gathering that celebrates the best of Burnaby’s local flavour.

What to Expect

Visitors can look forward to tasting their way through a variety of handcrafted offerings, from fresh-baked breads and hot-off-the-griddle crepes to foraged mushrooms, artisan coffee, and small-batch desserts. It’s a perfect chance to explore Burnaby’s vibrant local food scene and discover something new with every bite.

You’ll also have the opportunity to meet the makers behind the flavours. From bakers and food artisans to farmers and distillers, each vendor brings a passion for their craft and a story worth sharing.

To round out the experience, the market offers plenty of family-friendly fun. Enjoy live music from local performer Monty Biggins, stop by for face painting with Michelle’s Cheeky Face Painting between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, and be sure to visit the Info Tent early—the first 50 guests will receive a Bite of Burnaby-themed cookie created by Stephanie’s Kitchen.
